How do I get new armor in the game?

Buy the materials then pay the crafter to make it.

Or better yet, salvage the materials from drops as you go along then pay the crafter

or, if you're new and don't have alot of money, collect monster drops that stack and trade them in for "free" collector armor. don't know what kind of character you're playing but here's a ling to the warrior's collector armor info

Yeah you'll be waiting a while before you get that stuff. Best to play the game through before making things pretty I find. Have the skills to back up the armour
